The atmosphere was probably the best part, like walking into a private slice of another world. If we were locals, I would probably make this a common spot to spend time with friends.

A group of us dined at Zaku (previously Shun's) earlier this week. It was excellent! The new decor is wonderful, the food was great and our waitress was very attentive. We had the spicy edamame, several different maki rolls, sauteed okra, eggplant agebitashi, a sausage appetizer and a number of larger dishes, all of which we enjoyed. We look forward to our next visit. Highly recommend!!!
